Absent Eyes

This artwork is by Liverpool based, multifaceted artist, illustrator and curator Sumuyya Khader and was taken from her 2026 collection of works "Low Murmurs" first showcased at our united80 NOMAD pop up in June 2026. It has been made into an exclusive, limited edition A1 archival print in collaboration with united80.

It's a limited edition run of 20 pieces with an introductory price of £180.

Absent Eyes

"A face that stays with you. The figure is right there bold, close, impossible to miss against that deep red background but the eyes won't quite meet yours. There's something in that gap that feels familiar. Being seen without being fully known. Being present but keeping something back. A tension in oil pastel on a small panel, and somehow makes it feel enormous." -Sumuyya
